News for the Week of December 19, 2016

Happy Monday 12-19-16!
This is the last week of school for 2016!

Just a couple of things, Wednesday is "ugly" Christmas sweater day and Friday is a minimum day, children are dismissed at 12 noon.  Friday is also Christmas Pajama Day.

The Christmas break is two weeks long and children will return to school, Monday January 9th, 2017.

Thank you families who have donated much needed items to the classroom this past week, we are doing are best to keep the germs at bay and keep us all healthy during this cold and flu season!

Weekly News for the Week of December 12, 2016

We are beginning our last two weeks before Christmas break!

This week Friday, Santa comes to visit the children and bring them gifts! In leu of a class party, the school administration is putting a party together for the children when Santa is here, to include lunch, treats and dancing.  Photos with Santa will be taken as well.  
It is also Pajama Day for our classroom, and Crazy Christmas Sock Day for our school!

Thank you Families who are getting homework in each week on Fridays!!!

Next Week, (12-19 thru 23):
Monday thru Thursday are regular school days and 
Wednesday 21st is Ugly Christmas Sweater Day,
and
Friday 23rd is a minimum day, children are dismissed at 12 noon.

It is important to remember that "play" is "work" for children, critical thinking skills, social skills and imagination all happen during play!

We have had both staff and students out sick, if possible, please send donations of:
Disinfectant Spray such as Lysol
Bleach Wipes
Baby Wipes
and
Facial Tissues
and
Please dress your children in layers including a coat.  (please label your children's clothing too)
and
Call absences in to the school office as well as calling or texting me, letting us know of your child's absence.
